Dear Medical Staff Members, Let’s talk about what makes St. Joseph Hospital truly exceptional and how each one of you plays a role in our journey towards greatness. What defines a greathospital? Quality, safe, compassionate care. Exceptional doctors and caregivers. Effective, timely treatment. State-of-the-art technology. A commitment to excellence. And an unparalleled patient experience. We’re implementing a variety of initiatives across the board on our way to delivering superior care and 5-star service. This week we’re launching our GREAT service standards. Whether you’re familiar with the service standards or if they are new to you, they are at the heart of how we show up each day. Greatservice is about bringing our core values to life. Values that include culturally sensitive, exceptional and compassionate care that focuses on five points of service: Greet • Respect • Engage • Assist • Transition In the coming weeks and months, you’ll notice a variety of communications and activities centered around the GREAT service standards. This morning, we revealed new artwork by the exterior entrance of the chapel, a visual symbol of our commitment to these standards. All week we’re distributing newt-shirts with three options to choose from. On Wednesday, you’re invited to the St. Joe-lympics barbeque on the lawn from 10:30 AM to 2 PM and in the Cafeteria from 9 PM to 11 PM. We’ll have a series of fun challenges that represent our service standards. Let’s make this a greatweek at St. Joseph. Together, we will continue to elevate the standard of care and service that our community relies on and deserves. Thank you for your dedication and for embodying the values that make our hospital great. Brian Helleland |
